When searching for a job online, there are many, many different websites and most of them have their own app as well. Monster, Careerbuilder, Indeed, Glassdoor, the list is quite extensive. Every app has it’s own features and advantages. Our favorite has to be Indeed Job Search. It has many search features including showing you new jobs since your previous search, and finding jobs nearby using your GPS. You can also create a resume and send it through the app. The best thing about this, and many other job search apps, is that they’re free.

Resume Designer 3 takes all the hassle out of making a great looking resume that just may land you that big job. It’s completely dummy proof as well – all you need to do is fill out you information and the app compiles it all and presents it in a professional looking resume which can be printed, emailed, or uploaded as a PDF, you can even add a cover letter. This app goes for $3.99, which is quite the bargain for all it provides.

Monster.com Interviews by Monster Worldwide

After the headache of locating a new job comes the hardest part, the interview. Monster.com has put together an ingenious tool designed to help you put your best face forward. App use begins before the interview with tips, techniques, interview practice, outfit advice, and even helps you research the companies and people you’ll be interviewing with.
