wustl_setfireThe Relay For Life supporters at Washington University in St. Louis are hosting a unique and creative Kindle Fire giveaway to raise money for their charitable organization. Marketing materials for the initiative include this persuasive call to action: Let’s set FIRE to fundraising!

The Competition is Underway!

For every $48 a student raises in the 48 hours between April 3rd at 8 pm and April 5th at 8 pm, their name will be entered into a raffle to win a Kindle Fire digital reading device! This is such an awesome way to spark interest (pun intended!) in the campus club and raise awareness for the American Cancer Society.

Some information about Relay For Life of Washington University:
The main event is a 12-hour activity held at Francis Field annually. More than 1500 participants form teams of 8-15 people walk to raise awareness and support for the organization with the mission of finding a cure for cancer. Relay For Life is an outlet for everyone to CELEBRATE hope for the future, REMEMBER those who have lost the battle with cancer, and FIGHT BACK against the disease.

Relay For Life of Washington University in St. Louis will be APRIL 13 & 14, 2013.
